Logfile Utilities

Some handy tools

Utilities

I've put together some online utilities to help processing of beacon logfiles. There are only two small scripts to allow you to process your logfiles, or you can now run queries on the FiveMegs beacon log database.

Beacon Database

This is a complete online copy of the logs in the 5MHz beacon monitoring database. So far I only have station logs but I hope to add propagation data in the future to allow correlation. It allows you to view station data, extract the logfile and finally produce a graph of up to seven consecutive days of data.

The query forms can be found on the SQLTEST pages:

DIYgraph

This script allows you to upload a logfile of up to 7 days data in 3B format. It will then plot a graph that can be saved as a PNG file.

The script can be found at:

1B to 3B converter

This will allow you to upload a GB3RAL logfile in the old 1B format, which will then be converted to 3B format for further processing or uploading to the 5MHz Database.

The script can be found at:

Feedback

If you have any comments or queries you can reach me via the contact form link on this page or via the FiveMegs Reflector.

The only known bug is that there is currently no session handling. You are advised to include a header so you know you get your own data returned! Once I figure out session handling in php then that will be cured.
